I love my Javas because they are rare and they need assistance to stick around. i do not want all those Factory farm crosses to knock them out of the box.

that is certainly a good reason. I love the Javas because they are a really good functional bird. Meat and egg production is good and they are really self sufficient as foragers. I don't like birds that have to be pampered.
